Mark RowdenA native of Houston, Texas, Mark A. Rowden is a pastor, professor of theology, and army veteran, and he was the recipient of the 2014 Religious Leader of the Year Award and presented the Order of the Long Leaf Pine by the North Carolina's Governors ofice. Dr. Rowden is the site president for the North Carolina Theological Seminary in Cumberland County in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a servant leader of Savannah Missionary Baptist Church of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and serves as a regional representative for the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc, Foreign Mission for North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia. He is the founder and president of Mark Rowden Ministry, International, Inc, carrying the gospel to Bahrain, Bosnia, Korea, West and South Africa, and India, along with the U.S. Virgin Islands and Hawaii. He is also the admin chaplain for the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office where he provides spiritual support to over 350 sworn deputies, detention officers, civilians and inmates.
