Mark JacksonDr. Jackson began his engineering career in 1983. He received a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. Dr. Jackson continued his studies and conducted research at Liverpool gaining a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.Dr. Jackson then accepted a research fellowship at the world-famous Cavendish Laboratory in the University of Cambridge working with Professor John Field, before becoming a lecturer in engineering at the University of Liverpool. At Liverpool, Dr. Jackson established research in the field of micromachining and nanomachining and attracted research contracts in excess of $10 million. After working as a Department Chair of Mechanical Engineering Technology at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Jackson began his duties as Professor and Department Head of Engineering Technology at K-State Salina on July 1, 2013.
