Mark HobbsMark Hobbs, while earning a B.S. in Business Commerce and Marketing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, began his 20-year law enforcement career in 1981 at the UAB Police Department. In 1989-1992, Hobbs served as Hoover Police Department's Special Investigations Unit's Detective Sergeant and achieved a 99.5% conviction rate of all narcotic arrests, a case solvability rate of four times that of the national average.
