Mark BrambleMark Bramble was born on 7 December, 1950 in Chestertown, Maryland. He is best known for his work as a theatre director, producer, and an author. Two of his plays, Barnum and 42nd Street managed to get him nominated for a Tony Award three times. He cmpleted his schooling from McDonough School and went to college in Emerson College and New York University. He worked with Michael Stewart on numerous productions, including The Grand Tour (1978), which featured music by Jerry Herman, Pieces of Eight, a musical adaptation of Treasure Island, Elizabeth & Essex, an off-Broadway opera based on Maxwell Anderson's Elizabeth The Queen, and Mack and Mabel (1974), where he served as Michael Stewart's assistant.
