Marjorie JenkinsDr. Marjorie "MJ" Jenkins a well-known expert in women's health and sex and gender medicine, Dr. Jenkins has served in a variety of national roles such as Program Chair of the 2015 and 2018 National Sex and Gender Health Professional Education Summit and Co-chair of the Reproduction Work Group for NASA's Sex and Gender Decadal Review. She is a past member of the USMLE Women's Health National Board of Medical Examiners Writing Group and has served as an expert for HRSA and NIH. In 2007 she founded and served as executive director for the Texas Tech University Laura W. Bush Institute (LWBI), a research and education institute focusing on sex and gender women's health which now spans across six campuses. By invitation, Dr. Jenkins spent four years at the US Food and Drug Administration's Office of Women's Health as Director of Research and Scientific Programs.
