Marisa LabozzettaMarisa Labozzetta was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has been published in various journals and anthologies, including When I Am An Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple, The American Voice, VIA, Italian Americana, and American iction, among many others. She has been awarded the Pushcart Prize and the Eric Hoffer Award, and was a finalist for the John Gardner Fiction Award. Labozzetta has taught Italian American Studies through literature at Smith College and the University of Massachusetts, and fiction writing at Kirtland Community College. "The Woman Who Drew on Walls," from her forthcoming collection of short stories, Men Who Walk in Dreams, is a 2023 New Millennium Writings Award for Fiction Finalist.
