Mario D FenyoMario D. Fenyő (Budapest, 1935), historian. The youngest son of Miksa Fenyő, he served as the translator and advisor for this, the first English edition of his father's WWII diary. He received his MA in history from Yale University and his hD from the American University in Washington, DC. Since 1988 he has been a Professor at Bowie State University, MD. In 2007 he was a visiting professor at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. He received various grants and awards, including the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary and the Knight's Cross.
