Marilyn Isabel YurickMarilyn has lived almost her entire life in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She began her teaching career in an elementary school while still in her teens, and continued teaching ESL after her daughter was born. She had a 34-year career teaching English and Mah at Confederation College. Along with an interest in doing hand crafts and designing knitted and crocheted fashions, her summers have been spent gardening, and her yard has been featured on garden tours. While in her late sixties, fifteen years ago, she decided to draw and paint the flowers found in her garden. Writing and illustrating a children's book seemed just a dream. Read More Read Less
