Marilyn HarkriderBorn in Louisville, Kentucky, Ms. Harkrider has written ten books to date in both the fiction and educational genre. She was featured in the Kentucky Book Festival and has received much professional acclaim for her writing. She has taught high schoolSpanish and English in three states for both public and private schools. Ms. Harkrider developed elementary school Spanish programs for two private schools and created a ten-week program for Carolina's Medical System in Spanish, which she taught for eight years at night while living in Charlotte.
