Marie VanderbemdenMarie Vanderbemden is a freelance illustrator who works from her barge moored in Belgium. She studied illustration at the École Supérieure Artistique Saint-Luc in Liège, as well as 3D animation at the Haute École Albert Jacquard in Namur. Since 2016,Marie has illustrated several children's books, including the Fairylight Friends early reader series. She is passionate about photography, sculpture, and ceramics, which she teaches.
