Maria José FerradaMaria José Ferrada (Chile, 1977) is a journalist and writer. Her books have been translated into twenty languages. She has obtained, among other literary recognitions, the Cervantes Chico Libero-American Prize, the SM Ibero-American Prize for Childre's and Young People's Literature, the Ciudad de Orihuela Poetry Pirze, the Hispanic-American Prize for Poetry for Children, and the New Horizons Prize from the Bologna Children's Book Fair. She lives in Santiago, Chile.
