Mare Heron HakeMare Heron Hake, Poetry Editor is a published poet, essayist, book reviewer, and photographer. She earned her MFA from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts, where she worked with David Wagoner, Carolyne Wright, Derek Sheffield, and Ana Maria Spaga, among others. Mare was the poetry editor at Soundings Review and is a founder of The Red House Writers group.
