Marcel AndersonMarcel Anderson is a proud native of Spartanburg, South Carolina. After graduating high school, Marcel went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Saint Augustine University, and received his Special Education License from NorthCarolina Central University. Marcel also received a Master of Science in Human Behavior from Capella University, and constantly makes use of his education and training to benefit the community. Marcel has taught High School, in the field of Special Education for 5 years. In 2011, Marcel became the founder and CEO of Accelerating Men Inc., a nonprofit community faith-based organization that mentors young men ages 10-18. Through workshops, parenting meeting, community service, group mentoring, and conference calls within North Carolina and South Carolina. Accelerating Men works hard to educate, train, and cultivate young men to become all that God has called them to be. Through a Real life home invasion, Marcel brings more than just writing experience about being a Victim and now a Survivor of a Sexual Assault situation. He has overcome his situation and is one of several men in the world to share his story in a book. Design to help Men and Women who have gone through something similar, his books shows how you can still move in your purpose, in spite of your situation. His book called Still Living: A Victimized Man's journey has listed #2 on Amazon Kindle download top 100 best sellers list under Men'sDevelopmental Growth and has also listed #95 on Amazon top 100 under Counseling Recovery. Marcel Anderson has also released two solo albums called Still Living and Road to Recovery. Marcel has received several gospel musical awards for both of his album.
