Mara La Fratta BrennanMara La Fratta Brennan, a lifelong doodler and national board certified elementary school teacher, was never without a sketchbook growing up. She cultivates her illustrations while engaging her students in instruction, adding visuals and colorto academics. This is her first published work as an illustrator, but she looks forward to the new adventure. Mara holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Longwood University and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction and children's literature from Pennsylvania State University. She resides in Virginia with her husband, three children, and many pets.
