Mali BainMali Bain is a former high school teacher with a background working in university, non-profit, and philanthropic settings. She grew up in Port McNeill on Kwakwaka'wakw territory, northern Vancouver Island; she currently lives, works, and plays on Snueymuxw territory. She holds degrees in International Relations (B.A.), Education (B.Ed.), and Adult Learning and Education (M.A.). Her master's thesis explored the relationship between an Indigenous family services organization and a UBC department, identifying core principles for relationship-building.
