Malene Kai BellGrowing up, storytelling was always a part of Malene's life, thanks to her mother, Lillian, an amazing storyteller, and her brothers, Shawn and Changa, who entertained her with their humorous imitations of everyday characters. As the youngest and onl girl child in the family, Malene honed her own storytelling skills, imagining poetic words and metaphors everywhere she looked. Her love of storytelling led her to pursue a B.A. in English from Morgan State University and an M.A. in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. Today, she is a burgeoning writer and the author of the heartwarming children's book LOVEABLE.
