Makarand UpadhyayaDr. Makarand Upadhyaya is presently Associate Professor, Department of Management and Marketing, College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, Bahrain. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 2010. Additionally, h holds MBA, PGDPM and PGDCA from Vikram University, Ujjain. He has a combined experience in industry and academics of more than 25 years. Widely travelled around the globe, he received the Faculty Distinguished Scholarship Award in 2007 from the Research Council, India. His areas of research fall in the domains of consumer behaviour and strategic boardroom leadership. He also chairs and has membership of various committees and advisory boards. Dr. Upadhyaya has nearly 80 citations by papers published in several journals internationally. He has been the chairperson and keynote speaker at forums on business strategies and economic growth. He has conducted more than 40 training and development sessions for senior and junior level corporate executives on client relationship, behavioural aspects of overseas market, stress management, interpersonal skills, and team building.
