Magdel RoetsMagdel Roets studied literature and linguistics and worked as an editor and proof reader. Roets wrote several short stories, starting before she nished primary school. It is only during the past six years that she became serious about her writing andmade an e ort to publish. She lived most of her life in Johannesburg where two of her daughters with their families still are. One daughter lives with her husband and children in the UAE. Her only son lives in Cape Town. Magdel Roets and her husband have relocated and now lives in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape Province, an hour's drive from her son's place.
