Magdalena Solé is an award-winning photographer, known for her sensitive expressions of culture through distinctive color artistry. Born in Spain, and raised in Switzerlan, Solé has lived in New York City for more than thirty years before moving to the deep countryside of Vermont. She earned her MFA in film from Columbia University, New York. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is represented in major museum collections. In addition to her practice as a professional photographer and filmmaker, Solé teaches photo workshops, lectures on photography, creates artists' books, and works as an independent photo editor.
