Sailing the world's oceans with her husband and four children, she is currently working on a Master of Letters from the University of the Highlads and Islands of Orkney for Scottish Highlands and Islands Literature. She is an award-winning writer, and a recent article in Cruising World magazine documents her family's winter on Kerrera Island in Scotland.
