Macil DuncanRev. Macil Duncan calls Chattanooga his hometown and finished his elementary, middle and high school education there. He went on to East Tennessee State University to double major in Sociology and Speech Communications. He then went to Mid America Seinary in Memphis to receive his Masters of Divinity degree. He served 20 years as a Student/Small Groups Minister in churches in MS, TX, NC and TN during that time. He served as a Senior Pastor for the past 24 years in NC and TN. Currently Macil is lead pastor at Apison Baptist that also has a 7 day a week Food Pantry that is feeding thousands a month. He also coordinates a Homeless Ministry to those on the streets and tent cities around the Chattanooga area. For the past three years he has hosted a daily radio show on The NOOGA Network broadcasting into TN, GA, AL, KY and NJ plus on social media platforms like Facebook, Rumble, Truth Social and Telegram. He is married to Judy and they have three daughters; Shaina, Rachel and Maci that are married to godly men that are like sons to them. During the pandemic we did not shut down our church or the food pantry. We felt like this was our time to shine in a dark moment for the world. Feeding the hungry, sharing the gospel and equipping the saints is our goal. Our purpose statement is "Taking Jesus as He is to people as they are." Macil's goal is not to have the largest assembly on Sundays but to be the largest hug of Jesus they can be in the highway and byways to compel them to come to Him. This book is about his faith journey in good and bad times of his ministry. May it bless you to want to increase your faith and serve God and others more now than ever.
