M Lynn TaylorAttorney and late-night writer, M. Lynn Taylor was born in the West Texas city of Abilene in 1946. Born to parents and a tight-knit extended family that had known the great depression first-hand, Lynn was working by the age of eight, selling doughnut door-to-door. He delivered newspapers and then sold items at the local sporting goods store. Doing JFK vocal impressions landed him a job at the local radio station. He moved on to be a staff writer and book editor at the Abilene Reporter News. After graduating from Hardin Simmons University, he attended the University of Texas law school. He financed his studies as a reporter for the Austin American Statesman. During the following 50 years as an attorney, he served as an Assistant Attorney General and did private practice. He also loved and lost in divorce, had four children, and lived through the ups and down most of us experience in life like depression, starting over and finding love at last. Lynn now lives in the Taylor Home Place with his wife, Terri, in Parker County Texas. Read More Read Less
