After completing a Technical Certificate, she worked in industry for several years, before returning to university to study a Bachelor of Business, an MBA, and a PD (with full scholarship). As Professor of Management, Margaret investigated life- and work-related trauma and adversity for workers faced with disability and chronic illness, bullying and violence, grief and loss, redundancy, or undertaking carer roles.
