Enamul Hossain is currently the Statoil Chair in Reservoir Engineering at the Memorial Univerersity of Newfoundland, specializing in the area of reservoir engineering and management, reservoir characterization, reservoir simulation, enhanced oil rcovery, improved oil recovery, and sustainable drilling operations. He has over 22 years' experience as an engineer, administrator, and faculty member. He has earned seven patents, published five books, authored numerous journal articles and taught at several workshops around the world. He earned a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from BUET, Bangladesh, a M.Sc. in petroleum and mineral resource engineering from University of Alberta, a MBA in business administration and a PhD in petroleum engineering, both from Dalhousie University.
