Lynda MacKayLynda Mackay was born and educated in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has travelled through Europe extensively and loves cooking, photography and music. Lynda moved to Canada eight years ago and now lives in Cambridge, Ontario. Her property overlooks the rier, where she enjoys watching the many birds and animals that live nearby.

Lainey's Magical Garden is Lynda's first book, inspired by a visit to her friends' country property. "I was so inspired by their large, lovely garden-it is a truly magical place," she says. "After taking photographs of it I realized I could write stories about all the animals and others who make the garden their home. And once I started, I couldn't stop!"
