Lynda GilesLynda Giles is a self-taught artist/instructor, confident in herself and her God-given talents, and eager to pass on all she can. She sympathizes with her students with learning handicaps, such as dyslexia and ocular dominance, assuring them that pereverance, passion and self-confidence will spell opportunities. I can't and I'm not good enough are simply not in her vocabulary. She feels that to start a sentence with either of these is to close a door, and that giving something a shot is the best way to open new ones. Thanks largely to this philosophy, Lynda has been a speaker at several Words on Work and Career Centre functions. Lynda's career as an artist is a long hallway full of open doors. She's completed commissions, created murals, competed in juried shows, and instructed many an aspiring artist. Senior homes, parks and recreation departments, and both the local public and separate school boards, have all hired Lynda as an instructor.
