Lyn C MacGregorLyn C. Macgregor received her undergraduate degree at Boston University and a doctorate in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently the Associate Director of the Robert F. and Jean E. Holtz Center for Sciece at Technology Studies there. She specializes in the sociology of culture, communities, and consumption, with a focus on the building of social ties and social networks. She is the author of Habits of the Heartland (2010).
