Luke K FundakLuke K. Fundak was born in Lyon, France, and spent most of his childhood in Eastern Washington, where he began his first book, Flame Stone, at just 14 years old. During COVID-19, with all traditional school and activities at a standstill, he was ableto finish his first manuscript. As a junior, Luke's family moved to South Carolina where he spent the next two years editing and revising while finishing high school. As a runner, many story ideas came while logging miles on trails and roads. Language arts teachers praise his ability to articulate and describe details, and write beyond his years.
