Lucinda HeckLucinda Heck Sloan, DMA, was a professional singer for over thirty years. She performed numerous recitals, opera and oratorio roles. Her lieder concerts recieved rave reviews with her performance of Hugo Wolf's Moerika Lieder being reviewed as one ofthe top ten performances of the decade by the Omaha World Herals. She has also taught at the University level for over thrity years. Sloan lives in Orlando and started writing after retirement with the ardent desire to tell the history of her family.
