Lucie JacklinMeet the AuthorLucie Jacklin is a Welsh author who grew up in the Eastern Province of South Africa. She returned to England when she was seventeen and went to art College in Herefordshire, England. She made her home in the beautiful seaside town of Tnby in Wales, Pembrokeshire. This is where she raised her three children, Ashley, Wesley and Molly, whilst working for the local newspaper, The Tenby Observer.The author is very connected to the ocean and surfed around the Pembrokeshire coastline and Cornwall. While surfing her longboard she found a connection to the ocean that remains with her today. Lucie found surfing to be a spiritual journey, something that connected her to nature and to the universe. This journey led her to express her imagination in the form of her creative writing, a love for which she has had since a young child.The author feels a strong connection to all marine life, especially the dolphins and sharks that all surfers are privileged to share the ocean with.
