Luanne KuznickiIllustrator Luanne Kuznicki lives outside Midland, Michigan. Her love of nature, gardening, and art started at an early age. Her parents even enrolled her as a young teen in college-level courses via mail at the Minnesota Art Institute. Although she tudied art in high school and college, she chose science as her career path and became a high school teacher. However the artist within was creatively utilized in her chemistry, biology, anatomy, and physiology instruction. After retiring in 2020 after 30 years of teaching, Kuznicki was able to fully express her artsy side.
