Davison is a retired Lieutenant from the Monroe County Sheriff's Department in Monroe, Michigan, and is currently President of Davison Investigations Corp. Mike Davison is a volunteer with Michigan Mortuary Response Team (MI-MORT), nd the Disaster Assistance Recovery Team (DART), of which he was a founding member.He started his career in 1972 and officially retired in 2002. He has been involved in some type of law enforcement or investigations for fifty-two years.Davison holds a Top-Secret clearance from the United States government. He is a Special Field Investigator authorized to conduct background investigations on behalf of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Department of Homeland Security.The author holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is a graduate of the 150th Session of the National FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He has graduated from all three of the Drug Enforcement Administration schools, including the Drug Unit Commanders Seminar at the FBI Academy. He spent over ten years working undercover narcotics investigations with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration.These investigations took him to several States, including Florida, where he was instrumental in purchasing several million dollars' worth of cocaine in Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
