Louise PotashLouise Potash has been an educator and parent for over 30 years. She has taught an array of learners at all stages and ages. Earning a B.A. in Anthropology at Vassar College, and an M.A. in Social Studies Education at Teachers College, Columbia Univesity, Louise went on to educate in traditional and non-traditional classrooms, as well as provide pedagogical insights, creativity, and writing skills to nonprofit work. Her favorite moments though, were reading children's books with her own children, even before they could read. Books have always been cultural and personal treasures for Louise, and she has wanted to write her own for as long as she can remember.After avoiding the work of writing a children's book for so long, she realized that avoidance is common to everyone.
