Lori BergenLori Bergen (Ph.D., Indiana University-Bloomington) is founding dean of the College of Media, Communication and Information at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she holds the James E. de Castro Chair in Global Media Studies. As leader of CU Bulder's first new college in more than 50 years, Bergen's focus is on the interdisciplinary approach to media, communication and information education. Bergen came to Colorado from Marquette University, where she was dean of the J. William and Mary Diederich College of Communication and the William R. Burleigh and E.W. Scripps Professor.
