Lonormi ManuelBorn in northeast Tennessee and raised in southwest Virginia, Lonormi Manuel has called Kentucky home for over thirty years. She celebrates her Appalachian culture in her writing, with short fiction and creative nonfiction works published in Roanoke eview, Still: The Journal, Wraparound South, and more. Lonormi has a M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, and is currently an adjunct professor in the Humanities for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
