Lois HarterLois Harter was born in Pennsylvania, raised in Florida and for the past 25 years has made her home in Chugiak, Alaska. She became involved with the Iditarod Sled Dog Race in 1975 and became "hooked" on sled dogs. The Iditarod Trail Committee currenty employs her as their educational director and webmaster. She is best known for her friendship with a K-9 race reporter, Zuma on the Iditarod website. Ms Harter has four grown children and 14 grandchildren. Read More Read Less
