Lisa Ryan CampbellI began writing when I was a child taking chunks of my mom's pink typewriting paper. Years later, I bought into that belief that writing doesn't pay the bills and decided to get a real job.So, like most millennials, I took the college route and attened Arizona State University to major in English. After graduation, my goal was to continue my education and get both master's and doctorate degrees in English and teach at the college level. Not a bad plan, but that's not what happened. Because in the middle of writing all those essays for class, I was working on an ancient Egyptian romance. In 2002, I got my bachelor's degree in English Literature and finished writing my novel. By then, I rediscovered my love for writing and was hooked on writing fiction. I decided that instead of attending graduate school, I'd joined Romance Writers of America while also working for the Post Office to keep the bills paid (plus a girl's gotta eat). The rest, as they say, is history.Besides writing, I love to travel and have seen many of the world's treasures in Egypt, Peru, Spain, France, Morocco, England, Mexico, and the Caribbean. But most of my days are spent at home in Colorado hanging out with my husband, writing, reading and watching 1940's noir movies. I also love to laugh, so if you visit, you'll probably catch me watching reruns of Archer, Veep and The Office.Sign up for my newsletter and find out more about me, my books, and everything in between at www.Lisaryancampbell.com Read More Read Less
