Lisa Erazmus

Lisa ErazmusLisa Erazmus is a native of the state of Florida, having been born in Hollywood in 1965. Her love of Biblical literature began at a young age and she credits her pursuit of a degree in the subject to one of her ninth-grade Theology teachers, a Byzantne Rite brother who made the Scripture stories come alive in the classroom. She continued to study the Bible throughout her undergraduate program, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Barry University in Miami. She currently holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology, with a concentration in Scripture from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN and taught high school Theology for 26 years, always trying to carry on the legacy of her high school teacher by making the Scriptures truly the Living Word for her students. As part of her Theological studies, she was privileged to be able to study for a semester in Israel giving her a clearer perspective on the Scriptures and influencing this manuscript. Beyond the classroom, she shares her love of the Scriptures through writing, workshops, and Bible studies. She is the co-founder and has served on the Board of Seeds of Hope for La Victoria, Inc. - a non-profit organization aiding the poorest residents of the village of La Victoria in the Dominican Republic. Her various outside interests include reading, writing, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, singing, swimming, fishing, and camping. She is a HUGE fan of owls as her favorite of God's creatures. She resides on the west coast of Florida. Read More Read Less
