Linglong DaiDr. Linglong Dai received the B.S. degree from Zhejiang University in 2003, the M.S. degree (with the highest honor) from the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology (CATT) in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree (with the highest honor) from Tsinghua Uiversity, Beijing, China, in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, where he has been an Assistant Professor since July 2013 and then an Associate Professor since June 2016. His current research interests include massive MIMO, millimeter-wave communications, multiple access, and sparse signal processing. He has published over 50 IEEE journal papers and over 30 IEEE conference papers. He also holds 13 granted patents. Dr. Dai has received the Outstanding Ph.D. Graduate of Tsinghua University Award in 2011, the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Beijing Award in 2012, the IEEE ICC Best Paper Award in 2013, the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award in 2013, the IEEE ICC Best Paper Award in 2014, the URSI Young Scientist Award in 2014, the IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting Best Paper Award in 2015, the IEEE RADIO Young Scientist Award in 2015, the URSI AP-RASC Young Scientist Award in 2016. He currently serves as an Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Communications, an Editor of the IEEE Communications Letters, a Guest Editor of the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications (the Special Issue on Millimeter Wave Communications for Future Mobile Networks), and co-chair of the IEEE Special Interest Group (SIG) on Signal Processing Techniques in 5G Communication Systems.
