Linda Colley
Linda Colley is widely known for her 1992 study Britons: Forging the Nation, 1707-1837 and Captives – Britain, Empire and the World 1600- 1850. She is currently Professor of History at Princeton University. She became a well-know figure with a lecture Britishness in the 21st Century in December 1999, in the series of Millennium Lectures hosted by Tony and Cherie Blair.
