Lina MalfonaLina Malfona (1980) is an architect and a scholar with a Ph.D. in Architectural and Urban design. In 2007 she founded the Italian firm Malfona Petrini Architecture. In 2015 she received the 'Premio Giovani' national award from the Accademia Nazionaledi San Luca, Italy. Since 2018 she is working as an Associate Professor in Architectural and Urban Design at the University of Pisa, where she founded the research lab Polit(t)ico. She has been Fulbright Research Scholar at the Institute of Fine Arts (New York University) and visiting fellow the ATCH (University of Queensland, Australia), she recently received a Library Grant from the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles, and the CCA Visiting Scholarship at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal. In 2018 she taught as a visiting professor at Cornell University AAP.
