Lin GreenLin Green is a writer, advocate, blogger, and public speaker residing in Orlando, Florida. As a community advocate with a background in criminal justice, public administration, crisis intervention, and crisis counseling, Lin currently holds a ong-standing position with a government agency spanning over fifteen years, under which she's also served as a volunteer working with children overseen by the Department of Children and Families. As the former Program Director for a mentoring program she co-developed for young ladies in Seminole County, FL, she's aware of the struggles that families in transition face. Lin speaks publicly on these issues at venues such as Human Trafficking Conferences, the local Sheriff's Office Community Law Enforcement Academy, periodically at the local University of Central Florida, and as needed in other community forums. Additionally, Lin has traveled to crisis incidents throughout the country to provide support as a member of the Florida Crisis Response Team. She's a member of her county's Domestic Violence Task Force as well as the Sexual Assault Response Team, and a Greater Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force (GOHTTF) liaison. Lin has been highlighted in Orlando Voyager Magazine as a "Featured Change Maker."
