Licia CantonLicia Canton is the author of The Pink House and Other Stories. Her short story collection Almond Wine and Fertility was published in Italy as Vino alla mandorla e fertilità. Her writing has been anthologized internationally. She is also a literary tanslator and founding editor-in-chief of Accenti Magazine. She has published ten volumes as (co)editor, including two on the internment of Italian Canadians during World War II: Behind Barbed Wire and Beyond Barbed Wire. Other titles include: Antonio D'Alfonso: Essays on His Works, Writing Cultural Difference, Conspicuous Accents, Writing Our Way Home, Reflections on Culture, Writing Beyond History, Adjacencies: Minority Writing in Canada and The Dynamics of Cultural Exchange. She has served on the board of directors of the Quebec Writers' Federation (QWF) and is past-president of the Association of Italian Canadian Writers (AICW).
