Leïla TahirHana Jaber has a PhD in Modern History and Arab Studies from the University of Sorbonne, France. She also studied at the University of Lyon and University of Nice, France. Her recent book translations from Arabic to French include Cinquante Gramms de Paradis published by Gallimard, La fille de Souslov published by Actes Sud, Je soussigné Mahmoud Darwich published by Actes Sud and Je rêve d'être une bétonnière published by BookLand Press.
