Leza LowitzLeza Lowitz is an American poet, essayist, and fiction writer living in Japan. She received the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission Award from Columbia University for the Translation of Japanese Literature. Her other honors include the PEN Syndicated Fition Award, the Josephine Miles Award for Poetry, and an NEA fellowship in translation.
