Les MitchellLes Mitchell is a Hunterstoun Fellow of the University of Fort Hare, a Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics and a member of Institute for Critical Animal Studies (Africa). With a PhD from Rhodes University, his writing appears in a range of cademic journals as well as in chapters in various books relating to animals and was co-editor of Animals, Race and Multiculturalism - Contemporary Moral and Political Debates (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018). His research interests include nonhuman animals, discourses, power, critical realism, ethics, genocide, moral disengagement and open education.
