Les FurnanzLes Furnanz built a career in high technology engineering prior to his retirement in 1996. He and his wife have traveled extensively throughout Europe and the globe. They originated the travel Web magazine High on Adventure in 1996 and sold the populr periodical in 2004, when Les started research for the novella Finding Vincent. He focused on Vincent's life in France and made trips to all the major locations where van Gogh lived and worked. He and his wife of fifty years continue to travel yearly to France and throughout Europe. Les is fluent in French and is an avid reader who especially enjoys historical novels.
