Leo FinkelsteinLeo Finkelstein, Jr., received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1968; a master's from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1969; and a Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Troy, New Yrk, in 1978. He was Lecturer and Director of Technical Communication for the College of Engineering and Computer Science, Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He directed the technical writing program at the U.S. Air Force Academy while also serving as adjunct faculty for the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He wrote, produced, and directed technical films in Southern California and commanded a combat-documentation, photographic unit in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, flying combat missions as an aerial photographer. In addition, his military service included experience in both space and logistics systems.
