Lenny PetersAfter obtaining his M.D. and practicing medicine in the United Kingdom and Africa, Lenny Peters came to the U.S. He founded the Bethany Medical Center in High Point, growing from a single clinic to the largest independent medical group in North Carolna. Peters served as the founding director of the Bank of North Carolina, which later became part of Pinnacle Bank. Through Peters Medical Research, he invested in improving clinical and pharmaceutical research to help make High Point a hub for the biopharmaceutical industry. Peters Development is bringing economic growth to High Point with an emphasis on diversity. The Lenny Peters Foundation provides charitable grants and gifts to needy individuals and families in the Piedmont Triad and finances palliative care centers.
