Lela P LoveLela P. Love has been a mediator since 1983, pioneering one of the first law school mediation programs in the United States at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She has mediated a wide range of disputes and trains mediators nationally and internatioally. She chaired the ABA Dispute Resolution Section and initiated the first International Mediation Leadership Summit in The Hague in her chair year. She has coauthored three textbooks on dispute resolution, as well as a book on mediation with Joseph Stulberg, The Middle Voice: Mediating Conflict Successfully. She received the 2009 Frontline Champion Award on Mediation Settlement Day at the Association of the Bar of the City of NY and the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award from the American College of Civil Trial Mediators.
